We all know that the one thing that’s guaranteed on a Disney World vacation is getting our steps in (one loop around the World Showcase is 1.2 miles!).

Even with our handy strategies that help to minimize zigzagging through the parks, you will still be racking up the miles each day.

If you are looking for the right pair of shoes to help you get around, we’ve got you covered with several recommendations. Whether you prefer tennis shoes or sandals, there are options below for you to check out!

Tennis Shoes / Sneakers

ON Cloud Sneakers

Why our readers love it: These shoes can go the distance. They are designed with comfort in mind and keep your feet feeling good.

The ON brand comes highly recommended and especially these Cloud sneakers. They are lightweight so your feet won’t get tired quickly and they have plenty of cushion to maintain a nice comfort level. These are definitely on the expensive end, but they are worth the price if your feet need the extra support to keep going all day at the parks.

New Balance Women’s FuelCore Nergize V1 Classic Sneaker

Why our readers love it: An easy-to-wear tennis shoe that keeps your feet from tiring out on the long days.

As the name mentions, these are your classic shoes that are designed to keep your feet from feeling uncomfortable after logging 10 miles in one day. These are a reader favorite for the affordability while still maintaining a high level of support. It’s also nice that you can just slip these on if you don’t want to mess around with the laces each time – you may lose a little bit of support though. These are super lightweight and provide lots of cushion to keep you going.

Sandals

OOFOS OOriginal Sandal

Why our readers love it: The thick sole provides a lot of support and you don’t have to worry about getting these wet.

“Super supportive and soft. My kids say they are ugly old lady shoes but they seriously
save my feet.” – Tiffany H.

Some of us prefer to wear sandals throughout the day for any number of reasons and these OOFOS were recommended by several of our readers. These sandals have a unique design to support your arches and cushion your feet to keep them from tiring out. There’s a lot of nifty technology that has gone into creating these shoes with the goal to make walking long distances more comfortable. Plus we like that these are easy to clean. If you like the sound of OOFOS but this sandal isn’t your preferred type, they have other styles as well that you can check out here.

Crocs LiteRide Stretch Sandal

Why we and our readers love it: These sandals are affordable and incredibly comfortable even at the end of a week-long Disney trip.

After many trips and testing many types of footwear, we found that Crocs LiteRide Stretch Sandals are our favorites. We’ve also had many of our readers purchase these based on our recommendation and they agree that these sandals are perfect for the parks. These Crocs are actually stylish and still have the same cushiony foam design that helps keep your feet from getting worn down throughout the trip. Similar to the OOFOS, these are easy to clean and rain isn’t an issue for them.

Quick-Drying Shoes

SUOKENI Women’s Quick Drying Slip-On Water Shoes

Why our readers love it: These shoes are perfect for days when you know it’s going to rain or if you are headed to the water parks.

“These were the absolute best. It needs to be this brand though – there are others that look almost identical but they are not the same. I wore these in Disney and switched between these and Crocs LiteRide sandals….these were so good and perfect to wear all day long. My feet weren’t even tired after walking all day in these.” – Rebecca K.

In Florida, a quick-drying shoe can be a lifesaver. Whether you get caught in a rainstorm or get soaked on Kali River Rapids, you’ll want your shoes to dry quickly. These are a nice alternative to some of the heavier tennis shoes that have a lot of material and don’t dry as fast. This is also a great option to take with you if you are heading to one of the water parks and want to wear shoes while walking around. The slip-on feature makes it easy to remove them when you are ready to go down the slide and put them back on at the bottom.
