Let’s talk bags. These are pretty important and there are an overwhelming amount of options.

Do you wear a regular backpack or sling?? Small or big? Go minimal or maximal?

It can be a challenge to figure out what is best for you so we’re here to give a round-up of our and our readers’ picks to help you narrow down the options. Below you’ll find a variety of bags to suit all needs. It definitely helps if you have a style you know you like, but if you don’t it’s all good – from slings to fanny packs, we’ve got it covered below.

Sling Bags

WATERFLY Chest Sling Shoulder backpack

Why our readers love it: This slingback is comfortable and has enough space for everything you need.

“They are lightweight and had room for all the things we needed including water bottles for the kids and a special place to hold your phone.” – Janna I.

G4Free Sling Bag

Why our readers love it: The multiple compartments on this bag make for easy organization of all of your things.

This bag! Perfect size…fits more than you’d think and easy to carry on rides.” – Lisa P.

Sling bags are popular choices for the parks because you don’t need to take them off each time you need something. Just move them around to the front, grab what you need and keep going. This is also convenient on some of the attractions where you are able to just move it to the front and keep it on while riding.

So many of our readers prefer this type of bag for many reasons. Both of these options are lightweight and still have plenty of space for everything you need for the day. Even though they are a bit smaller than regular backpacks, there is still a specific space for your phone and water bottle holders on the side. When it comes to comfort, the straps are padded, but not too thick so that it doesn’t feel heavy. Both of these are water resistant as well. The only difference between them is that the G4Free is slightly bigger.

Backpacks

We know there are a lot of people out there, ourselves included, who prefer the two-strap backpack. It might be a little more annoying to take on and off, but if you are used to this style we’ve got a couple of options below that you’ll want to consider for your park day.

Lug Hatchback 3 Backpack

Why our readers love it: This backpack is a great size and has a lot of compartments making for easy organization.

Lug bags of all types come highly recommended so this smaller, versatile backpack is no different. The real selling point of this bag is the array of compartments and pockets so you can easily organize your items. We love having a smaller pocket that’s accessible for our phone so we don’t have to fumble around for it. The side pockets are great for water bottles or sunscreen – both of which get a lot of use walking around Disney World.

This bag is a little pricier, but Lugs are built for everyday use so you’ll get your money’s worth. Plus there’s a red and white polka dot one if you are a big Minnie fan. 😀

Osprey Ultralight Stuff Pack

Why our readers love it: This bag is insanely lightweight, easy to pack and still has room for everything you need at the parks.

At just 3 ounces, this is the ultimate lightweight backpack and it folds up into its own pocket making it easy to pack. It comes with side pockets which we love for stashing those items you need to grab quickly. This backpack doesn’t have as many pockets or compartments as some others, but there is a smaller one on the top to throw your phone or wallet into for easy access. This bag will still hold plenty, it just doesn’t come with the built-in organization of others.

Fanny Packs

WATERFLY Fanny Pack

Why our readers love it: This fanny pack is comfortable and not bulky like a lot of others. It will hold just what you need.

“Small and convenient for carrying your phone and other items.” – Jaime B.

This one is for all the minimalists out there who don’t like to carry around too much. Alternatively, this could also be used in conjunction with a backpack as a way to keep all of the necessary items within easy reach at all times. We also like to use a fanny pack if we’re going to the parks for just a few hours and don’t want to carry everything with us. This particular fanny pack has a great design with several compartments to stash what you need. It’s also water resistant which is a big plus for when you’re getting wet on Kali River Rapids.

Slim Wallet / Space Saver

Buffway Slim Wallet

Why our readers love it: The perfect size for almost all pockets out there and makes it easy to grab exactly what you need quickly.

“We also use slim travel RFID-blocking wallets that fit nicely into a pocket to keep ID, gift or credit cards, etc. to eliminate the need for a backpack or small purse.” – Erin P.

This one is for the ultra-minimalist out there who only wants to just take what they can fit in their pocket. Alternatively this can also be used to avoid having to carry a bulkier wallet into the parks and only take the few things you will absolutely need and leave the rest behind (like those “buy 10, get 1 free” cards we all collect). It also has the built-in RFID blocking technology to keep your information safe.

Droid Carrier Backpack

Clear, Waterproof Backpack

Why our readers love it: This backpack fits the droid perfectly and is designed with padded, adjustable straps to make it comfortable to wear for a longer period of time.

“Worked perfect for my son’s droid he built, fits to the T! Easy to see when interacting
around HS.” – Jaime B.

Part of the fun of building a droid in Galaxy’s Edge is watching it interact throughout the park and with other droids and this bag makes it easy to see that in action. This provides a lot more fun to the overall experience rather than just carrying it in the box Disney provides. And it costs less than a Bespin Fizz at Oga’s Cantina. It’s waterproof so you don’t have to worry about ruining the droid you just paid $$$ for.

Diaper Bag

JuJuBe Be Right Back Diaper Bag

Why our readers love it: The organization that this bag provides is unmatched and makes it perfect for days at the parks when you need to bring a lot of things with you.

The JuJuBe brand comes highly recommended for a lot of their products and the Be Right Back diaper bag is a favorite among parents heading to the parks with little ones. These bags are a bit bigger so they can hold a lot of stuff. There are multiple compartments and tons of pockets to help with organizing everything. They are high-quality and long lasting so you can get a lot of use out of this bag. They are easy to wipe down if they get dirty and can go in the washing machine which is a bonus.

Tote Bag

Clear Tote Bag

Why our readers love it: These are an inexpensive option for carrying all of the items you know you’ll need to be able to grab quickly throughout the day.

“I like to throw all the necessary baby items into these clear bags for security and so I can easily see what I’m grabbing for. They are easy to clean, and not very expensive, so I don’t worry about messing them up.” – Kayla Y.

The clear tote bag makes life a little bit easier for park days – you can see everything that’s in there and just grab what you need. These aren’t designed to be carried around all day long, but if you have a stroller these can be great to store all of the items. Plus these are very affordable if you don’t want to break the bank on a new bag.
