Yay, you’re headed to Disney World! If you’re planning on using the Lightning Lane Multi Pass, you’re going to be eligible to prebook your selections for each park either 3 or 7 days before your trip—and we highly recommend doing so as early as you can (prebooking opens at 7 am EST).
At all three parks outside of Animal Kingdom, there are Tier 1 and Tier 2 choices you’ll see when you go to prebook. Once you’ve scanned into your first Lightning Lane on the day of your visit, Tiers don’t apply anymore. They’re just for prebooking.
But, that means you’ll have to make choices, as you can only prebook one Tier 1 selection. And it can be tricky!
At EPCOT, if you’re traveling with young kids and not prioritizing Test Track, the best (and only other) Tier 1 choices are Frozen Ever After or Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure.
Most travelers will want to do both, and should!
But prebooking here is important.
We actually recommend locking in your prebooking for Frozen Ever After first if you’re torn between the two or you have Frozen lovers…or really, if it’s a must do.
Why?
While both can sell out even before 10 am on busy days, Lightning Lanes for Frozen Ever After do not have as much day of availability pop up as Remy’s does, making it tougher to get (and smarter to secure in advance).
So yes—prebook Frozen Ever After. We then recommend scanning into a Lightning Lane as early as you can once official park opening kicks in, and then book the other Tier 1 immediately before it sells out. If it’s already sold out, no worries. Use the hacks in our Masterclass and you’ll know exactly how to get those elusive Lightning Lanes!
