Hollywood Studios is a park that’s known for its thrills, action, and a little adrenaline.
But once you’ve ridden Rock ‘n’ Rollercoaster three times during rope drop (RIP to your back) or taken a spin on Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway, you’ve probably worked up an appetite.
Honestly, we’ll admit the food offerings in the park aren’t that exciting if you’re a regular (or returning) guest. In fact, it might be our least favorite park as far as the options go.
But, much like the food at Magic Kingdom, there are enough solid quick-service meals and even a few good sit-down choices (not to mention the snacks!) to keep everyone happy in between shows and the rides. And if you or the tired kids are just wanting standard theme park fare, there are multiple stops for nuggets, burgers, and pizza.
From classic theme park picks to more niche selections (like savory waffle bowls), let’s go through the top items and restaurants at Hollywood Studios that are worthy of your appetite and your wallet.

Quick-Service Options at Hollywood Studios
Quick-service (a.k.a. counter-service) restaurants are all over Disney World property. The concept is that you order at the counter, then take your food back to the table.
They’re quick, easy, and provide lots of options, whether you’re craving standard park fare or more eclectic options. Here are a few of the top options at Hollywood Studios.
ABC Commissary
This one is our typical go–to for quick-service dining. The options are varied and consistent, and we especially love all the different sides.
We have a couple of favorites, including the Buffalo Chicken Grilled Cheese (no, this isn’t a light pick, but it is good). The tacos may not be super exciting, but they make for a welcome and easy meal.
As far as sides go, there are a few you shouldn’t miss. The steak fries are good, the black beans are delish, and the arugula and farro side salad is our absolute favorite option when we’re craving a lighter, tasty dish in the parks.
Note: This quick-service is not the stop for the standard burger/pizza/nuggets.
Docking Bay 7
Popular for its Star Wars-themed offerings, we find this option a good one if you’re looking for something cool and unique, or just want to hang out in Galaxy’s Edge.
The food is pretty decent, and reasonably light if you’re looking for healthier options that taste good. That being said, we do find it a little overhyped, and we feel the portions are small for the price.
Spoiler: We feel this way about Satu’li Canteen at Animal Kingdom, too; worth a visit if you’re looking for an immersive hang, otherwise a little meh.
Woody’s Lunch Box
Woody’s Lunch Box is cute and has a few solid sandwiches, but the menu is on the smaller side, and the seating area (even after the expansion) is often a mess.
If you’d like the experience, we recommend visiting during off-hours, skipping the full sit-down, and going for snacks like the totchos or the homemade Lunch Box Tarts (i.e., Pop-Tarts) with rotating flavors.
Table-Service Options at Hollywood Studios
Sometimes, you have to take a load off and take some time to refresh and recharge. That’s where table-service dining comes in. Recognizable as your standard sit-down dining experience, Hollywood Studios has a couple of options we recommend.
Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater
If you’re looking for a sit-down that’s an experience, Sci-Fi is one of our favorite restaurants in all of Disney. Heavy on nostalgia and famous for its incredible theming and atmosphere, we always recommend a stop here.
But you should know the menu is mostly burgers – and they do them really well (as in, they’re good, not just temperature)! If you aren’t feeling burgers, just know the menu is limited and the other options are a bit bland. Just an FYI; otherwise, we love it!
50’s Prime Time Cafe
Speaking of nostalgia and theming, 50’s Prime Time Cafe is another option at Hollywood Studios that is both kitschy and on-brand. Famous for classic American comfort food, we’d recommend this spot if you’re looking for a fun, immersive experience.
Hollywood Brown Derby
Hollywood Brown Derby is the park’s signature dining restaurant, and it serves up (mostly) good food. The filet here is one of the best on Disney property, and the Cobb Salad is famously delicious.
Now, we don’t think it completely feels like a signature restaurant, so the price can be hard to justify. We’ve found the service is usually rushed and impersonal, and the restaurant itself isn’t too exciting.

When you’re more in the mood for grab-and-go versus sitting down for the full experience, Hollywood Studios has a handful of snacks we keep coming back to.

Hollywood Studios might not be the food capital when it comes to Disney World dining, but there are still good options worth working into your day. Knowing what’s good, great, and just okay can make a big difference when choosing foods between rides or getting more bang for your buck overall.
