Almost everyone at some point during their Disney trip planning process has heard of the legendary “drinking around the World” challenge at EPCOT.
We’ll be honest: we’re a little too seasoned (read: old) for an all out drink-a-thon. But that doesn’t mean we don’t enjoy sipping around the world, just with a little more strategy and taste.
The good new is, you don’t technically have to have a drink at all 11 pavilions to enjoy the experience. Sometimes cherry-picking the best drinks is the better move, anyway.
That’s where we come in.
We’ve done plenty of research (one drink at a time!) in our 100+ visits to EPCOT to help you find the standouts at each stop.
Now, we like to think of ourselves as sophisticated drinkers. That means we can’t switch between liquor, frozen drinks, wine, and beer at every spot. If you can, we salute you. But we’re here to guide you to our favorite drinks in each pavilion in World Showcase order, for your convenience.
Most people start in Mexico (we do too – who wants to save margaritas for last?). But you can also begin in Canada. Or you can split it up over days. You can have just a few drinks. You can do. Whatever. You. Want. Choose your own adventure!

Important Note: Please make sure to be safe and drink responsibly. There’s nothing magical about overdoing it at a family-friendly theme park. Pace yourself, know your limits, and be respectful to Cast Members and fellow park visitors so everyone (including you!) can enjoy the experience.
Mexico: The Margarita
If you haven’t heard, there are some seriously good margaritas and tequila options in Mexico. Inside the pyramid, you’ve got La Cava del Tequila, a craft tequila bar that has over 200 varieties of tequila and agave-based cocktails. The menu is extensive and there’s something for everyone. It’s a little pricey, but it’s authentic, so you’re getting the good stuff. Most people get their drinks to go, but you do have the option to sit down, and we personally love doing that here.
If you prefer a frozen marg or just want a quicker option, head to Choza right outside of the pyramid. These margs are usually our go-tos.
Favorites: The El Diablo and the Avocado from La Cava, or the lime frozen marg and the Fiesta marg (frozen mango, lime, and strawberry layered!) from La Choza.
Norway: The Troll Krem or Icelandic White Ale
To be frank, this is probably one of the more boring stops as far as the drinks go, but there are still a few options for drinks! If you enjoy sweet and frozen, the Troll Krem is one of the most popular choices. It’s a frozen slushy with berry and vanilla flavors (with rum), and it’s tasty! Personally, we like the white ale on draft here. It goes down easily, especially after a Mexico marg.
China: Tipsy Ducks in Love
This is an interesting but tasty drink that combines coffee, tea, bourbon, cream, and a few other flavors. Essentially, it tastes like a chocolate-espresso-milkshake with bourbon added. We’re not huge bourbon fans ourselves, but it is still good. It can be dangerous, though, so be careful!
Germany: BIER!
This is an easy one, and even if you’re not a huge beer drinker, we’ve got one for you. Hit any one of the multiple beer carts in Germany and grab a Dunkel, Pilsner, or the famous Schöfferhofer. The Schöfferhofer is more colloquially known as the Grapefruit Bier, and it’s technically a shandy: half wheat beer, half grapefruit soda.
While it is on the sweeter side, it is absolutely delicious and generally a crowd pleaser. Plus, it’s lower in alcohol, so it’s kind of a nice break, to be honest.
Italy: Bellini or Rossini
You’ve got a few options in Italy. Hit the carts for draft Peroni, or all of the wines and Prosecco. But our favorites are the Bellini and Rossini, found at the gelato cart. It’s similar to a mimosa, but instead of orange juice, it’s peach nectar (Bellini) or strawberry puree (Rossini). Light, refreshing, and tasty!
America: Craft Beers and Moonshine Sours
You’ll want to head to the outdoor bar at Regal Eagle Smokehouse. There’s a huge selection here, and plenty of outdoor seating to take a break (or watch live music!). There are some solid craft beers like Bell’s Oberon, and then a few famous cocktails such as the Moonshine Sour. There’s also a solid frozen Strawberry Daiquiri if you’re feeling more of a vacation-y vibe.
Japan: Sake (or Frozen…Beer?)
Hit the Kabuki Cafe (it’s a cart!) or the Garden House cart and grab yourself some authentic sake. There are tons of varieties, so feel free to have a Cast Member help guide you, like we do. There is also a famous drink here called the Frozen Kirin (a beer that tastes a lot like a Budweiser). We think it’s kind of terrible, actually, but it’s still fun to try!
Morocco: Moroccan Mule or Sangria
This is an underrated stop! Morocco is already a sleeper pick when it comes to finding a shady spot in the Showcase to rest your feet and relax. But first, stop at the bar at Spice Road or the beverage/snack cart and grab a Moroccan Mule made with fig vodka (it’s good), or some homemade sangria. Both are pretty great, especially at this point in the World Showcase journey!
France – The Grand Marnier Slush (or champagne, baby!)
If you appreciate a frozen drink and like orange, you’ll want to try the Grand Marnier slush here. It’s famous for good reason—it’s delicious. It comes in a (plastic) martini glass, so it can be a bit of a game to walk and drink it. We say wait to enjoy until you’re planning to loiter in France a bit (and you should, it’s a beautiful spot to hang out). You can sometimes request a cup, but that takes some of the fun out of it!
And if you don’t want another sweet or frozen drink? There’s a CHAMPAGNE BAR in France! You can do tastings, get full glasses, whatever you want. And all at surprisingly reasonable prices given that it is real champagne from…Champagne, France.
There’s always wine, beers, mimosas, and a few other cocktails all around the large France Pavilion. You’ve got options!
UK: Pub Blends
Probably our second favorite stop outside of Mexico, you’re going to want to stop at the Rose & Crown Pub here just for the atmosphere alone. But the Pub Blends make it worth it. From classics like the Black Velvet (Guinness and Cider) to our favorite Golden Fox (pale & amber ales), you can’t go wrong.
Not a huge beer drinker? There are plenty of fun cocktails here as well as a full bar. The bartenders are wonderful, and while it’s often jam-packed, most people go with the British vibes once they walk in the door, and are fun and friendly.
Canada: Ottawa Apple (or…beer!)
Similar to Norway, there’s not much going on here as far as adult bevs. But you can finish with a cold Canadian beer, or if you’re a whiskey sour person, try the Ottawa Apple. Essentially, an apple flavored whiskey sour. Not necessarily how we want to finish drinking around the world sesh, but some people love it! You can always cheat and go back for another pub blend in the UK, too.

However you choose to sip your way around the World Showcase, just make sure it’s fun, safe, and on your terms. Drink smart, pace yourself, and enjoy all of the flavors from around the World. Cheers!
